As the Diabetes Health Content Strategist for the development ofDiabetes focused products of the new Digital Health Business you will responsible for leading a team of content creators, editors, and curators while also being a key member of the customer and industry facing teams.To be successful in this role you will need to be a positive independent thinker who can work with the team to craft the content startegy and to write, edit, and review clinicial documentation to be leveraged in our mobile application solution. You should have the ability to cultivate relationships and effectively work with a cross-functional team where you can clearly express thoughts verbally and through meticulous documentation. You will have the critical role of being the subject matter expert who can articulate our business, product, and content strategies to the industry and our partners.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
·Medical and health behavior subject matter expert with strong ability to articulate our business, product, and content strategies.
·Own the content creation, medical, regulatory and legal content approval process, and ongoing content management for mobile and web products.
·Partner with health content area experts to develop conversational maps for cognitive agent solution
·Collaborate with cross-functionalteam of developers and marketers to facilitate creative brainstorms for product content and delivery strategy
·Work closely with cross-functional team of product managers, designers and developers to execute on the product content strategy.
·Review and edit all publicly facing documentation to ensure alignment with strategy and to ensure appropriate language/terms for specified audience
·Develop and document consumer-centric health and medical communications for product development
·Coordinate content, experiences, and requirements needs with teams at BD developing medical devices that will be connected to the Digital Health products.
·Act as primary Liaison to the Medical Affairs functions
·BA/BS in health related field required.Advanced degree in health educationpreferred.
·Experience in patient/consumer centric health, wellness and medical writing.
·Strong written and verbal communication skills to drive and direct the team
·Aptitude to deliver high-quality products in short timelines
·Experience in building a web presence to patients, i.e. blogging preferred
·7+ years of experience writing for a consumer health patient-centric audience via web, articles, etc.
·Proficient in the English language, able to write fluent and grammatically correct as it relates to medical and scientific terminology for consumers
·Exposure to Health Care or medical device/technology product management.
