Description:The Space Security Division within Lockheed Martin Space's Mission Solutions business area is seeking a dedicated software engineer interested in DevSecOps to join the Rainier program in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
In this position, you will be working with a multi-disciplinary team of RPO satellite mission planning developers that will be working many tasks simultaneously. These capabilities are developed using modern C# services and state of the art web user interfaces to meet mission needs.
In this job you will be responsible for the design, development and building of solutions to help internal and external clients reimagine, reshape and rewire their software development, security, and operational capabilities.
You will need to be eligible to obtain access to classified USG information or already hold clearances.
Have technical curiosity to learn new skills and are ready to help across the team, as this is a team that is constantly looking at latest tools and trends
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Openstack,GCP etc) or traditional IT systems
Experience working as a member of an Agile Scrum or Kanban team with Agile management tools such as Version One, Jira, Confluence, etc
Track record of being a self-starter and strong independent contributor
Experience with a programming or scripting languages such as bash, python, nodejs, go, c# or java
Demonstrated ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver exceptional customer service
Mentoring junior engineers. Always willing to teach and learn from every members of the team.
- Experience with Git
Experience with CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools
Experience with Linux Operating system administration
Experience with Infrastructure as Code Tools (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, Chef, CloudFormation, etc)
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with networking concepts, terminology, and configuration
Experience with agile development practices
Experience with Big Data Administration
Cloud Architecture Experience
Database architecture and administration experience
Security/Cloud Certifications (CISSP, CCSP, Security+, AWS, etc)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
