DevOps Engineer at Publicis Sapient in Arlington, VA

* Building, testing, and administering highly available RedHat OpenShift Container Platform cluster

* Champion security by injecting it into the existing development workflow, i.e. into every stage of software development

* Supporting the Ansible Scripting

* Assisting application teams with on-boarding to the Openshift platform in areas such as resource requirements, capacity analysis, troubleshooting support

* Developing and automating repeatable tasks

* AWS provisioning, configuration management, storage management, network management, virtualization

* Creating automated CI/CD pipelines and automating all aspects of our infrastructure

* Mentoring team members in continuous delivery practices to grow a strong, cross functional team

* Developing and improving standards for security (via security as code) across a continuous delivery environment and cloud-based production deployments

Must haves:

* 5+ years of directly relevant experience

* AWS experience is must; Experiences with Cloud Service continuous delivery systems

* 3+ years’ experience building automated pipelines

* Have written scripts or built applications in Python/Ruby/Bash

* Worked with container technologies (Docker & Kubernetes)

* Full end-to-end understanding of CI/CD pipeline and how to assess them from a security point of view

* Experience with both Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing methodologies and tools

* Strong understanding of security concepts, best practices and how to apply them, such as SSH, public key encryption, access credentials, certificates, TLS, data encryption

* Experience working with RedHat Openshift

* Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills

* Knowledge of Docker , Kubernetes, and deployment of containerized applications/microservices architectures

* Demonstrated skill with at least one or more configuration management/scripting technology (such as Ansible/Chef/Puppet)

* Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube or comparable substitutes

* 3+ years’ experience developing software or scripting with Java, Javascript, Python or UNIX shell

* Experience with infrastructure as code / orchestration of Cloud infrastructure

* Experience with software security, secure coding, or software assurance tools and techniques

* Experience and/or familiarity with DevOps, Continuous Development/Continuous Integration concepts, and automated test tools such as Docker, Jenkins, JIRA, Git, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Junit, JMeter,, Selenium and/or Cucumber

* Ability to work with customers/stakeholders, developers, testers, project managers, support staff

* Experience acquiring in-depth understanding of large complex software systems to isolate defects, reproduce defects, assess risk and understand varied customer deployments

* Knowledge of Container Concepts; CI/CD; • Deployment Automation & Orchestration; Infrastructure Automation; Source Control;

* Experience working in an agile environment, such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe

* Source control experience (such as GitHub)

* Demonstrated ability to explain technical issues clearly/accurately to technical/non-technical audiences

* Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team with adjusting priorities and deadlines
