  • Perform various development activities for DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous testing and continuous monitoring
  • Work collaboratively with Software Engineering team to design continuous integration best practices, deploy applications and automate operations and processes
  • Develop tools and systems, including APIs, Web portals, databases and virtual servers hosted on a Cloud environment that will help deliver software quickly
  • Apply knowledge of latest trends in DevOps industry and engage with client-facing teams to consult and help implement DevOps practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test QA, and production environments
  • Automate deployments and develop scripts to manage the configuration of platforms
  • Perform script maintenance and updates due to changes in requirements or implementations and assist with setup and maintenance of test environments for both manual and automated testing


  • 5+ years experience with general system delivery
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university with a concentration in a technical field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering
  • Familiarity or experience within the Telecommunications, Cable Systems, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or Networking domains.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of related industry, domain or functional solutions
  • Experience with Agile methodology and software development
  • Experience with DevOps and automation frameworks, including Chef, Docker, Puppet, or Jenkins
  • Experience with scriptinglanguages including PowerShell, Bash, PHP, Python, Java Node or Ruby
  • Experience with Linux and UNIX administration
  • Experience working in a large consulting firm is preferred
  • Experience working with a Fortune 500 company is preferred


  • Cable /MSO Industry knowledge specific to Video Software line of business
  • Experience with software lifecycle engineering, technical writing, systems administration, systems automation, performance engineering, or modeling and simulation
  • Experience with continuous monitoring tools, such as Nagios, Splunk and Sensu
  • Experience with service delivery platforms, including Zookeeper, Consul or DNS
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Experience with cloud service providers, including AWS and Azure; additionally Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), OpenShift, and  Kubernetes
  • Excellent oral and written skills


  • Travel will vary based on project assignment and may require travel within the United States and/or international travel up to 100% of the time
