Description:

Primary responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of our automation programs to support the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify/assist in automation of DevOps manual processes
  • Assist in identifying opportunities within deployment automation, application testing, system automation & monitoring, management tools
  • Assist in automating manual processes which support the business
  • Assist as an escalation for issues related to automation activities
  • Work with operations and development to maintain/improve our automation in the DevOps area
  • Work in a highly collaborative team environment 
  • Assist in developing and maintaining tools for DevOps areas
  • Assist with other duties as needed

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in IS building virtualization and using automation & monitoring/management tools in an MS Windows implementation
  • Knowledge of DevOps automation concepts/principles
  • Knowledge of MS Operating systems
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server database system design and implementations
  • Good knowledge of MS servers and MS Apps and implementations
  • Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle and configuration management; specifically Waterfall and Agile development methodologies
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • High aptitude/quick learner

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of MS C# and object oriented programming
  • Knowledge of .Net framework and services
  • Solid business and technical background
  • Knowledge of storage design and implementations
  • Knowledge of networks and system integration in a distributed environment

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent Skills / Experience
