Micron Technology, Inc. is looking for a suitable candidate to be the site leader in its Bangalore, India operations focused on device technology. The Bangalore site is responsible for device analysis, test structure layout for key modules used during technology development, circuit-level analysis of these modules prior to tape-out, and associated CAD in design/verifications. 

 

Responsibilities :

As the Technology Development Site Lead – Bangalore, you’ll:

  • Lead a team of approximately 20engineering professionals, manage site operations and budgets
  • Oversee all technical activities on the Bangalore site to support technology development
  • Be responsible for hiring, mentoring and growing a team of innovative technology professionals
  • Engage key customers and partners across global Micron with passion and drive, to add value to Micron’s technology programs

 

Requirements :

What Micron is looking for:

  • Experience in various areas of device engineering in semiconductortechnology development.  Specific focus and familiarity needed in device analysis, test circuits, CAD environments
  • Strong understanding of memory technology – DRAM, NAND and emerging memory
  • Previous experience leading large, small, and virtual teams
  • Self-motivated, willing to take on challenges and adapt to change
  • Excellent leadership skills; ability to drive consensus, build and motivate teams
  • Organizational and planning skills including proven project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
  • A quality mindset and excellent attention to details
  • A track record of innovation, collaboration and integrity
  • M.S. or Ph.D. degree in ElectricalEngineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or related field with relevant industry experience; or alternatively, B.S. degree in one of above areas and significant relevant industry experience.
