Developmental Test Manager
Support A5I in developmental test planning and analysis to assist program management and decision support for ICBM modernization and sustainment. Coordinate, review, and comment on test plans to determine impacts related to HQ AFGSC/A5I missions, while drafting and supporting requirements briefings approved by A5I to other MAJCOMs, AF, Joint, and national agencies. Participate in integrated test teams for current and future ICBM acquisitions and analyze test plans to support milestone decisions relating to future nuclear systems. Provide requirements and programmatic oversite in programs involving operational test equipment. Assist A5I in interfacing with other test agencies, including AFGSC/A3, 576 FLTS, and AFOTEC to ensure developmental testing compliance. Draft and staff packages, briefings, point, background, and whitepapers, and electronic staffing (E-staffing) in response to internal MAJCOM taskings.
-10+ years of experience with ICBM maintenance, operations, or security
-5+ years of experience with Air Force or Joint Armed Forces staff at the MAJCOM or higher level
-2+ years of experience with requirements in an Air Force or Joint services MAJCOM or higher level
-Experience with successful task and team leadership
-Experience as a competent author, including drafting and editing documents
-Knowledge of the MM III weapon system
-HS diploma or GED
-Experience with Nuclear weapons, including safety, surety, handling, and support
-Experience with Air Force Global Strike Command
-Experience with supporting group meetings
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
-BA or BS degree
