We are looking for Desktop Support ?for our client in ?Houston, TX

Job Title: Desktop Support

Job Location: ?Houston, TX

Job Type: Contract – 12 Months / Contract to Hire / Direct Hire

Job Description:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area required Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Strong Microsoft operating System installation and troubleshooting skills Strong Break / Fix skills Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks and Printers Broad experience of IT with basic understanding of Networks, Servers and Telecoms Strong customer service skills Ability to provide consistent, excellent customer support to entire staff, representing a variety of personalities and management levels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and self-motivating
  • Background security check required
  • Experience including remote control of PCs and video conferencing knowledge
  • To contribute research and data gathering as and when| e.g. opening an operations in new geos
  • Contributes to special assignments to increase the maturity of the CoE| e.g. budgeting tool design
  • To analyze and prepare the data cuts as per review requirements
  • To put together data and slides from different sources for the whole function review with senior management To update information and run validation to keep it current| e.g. PMS
  • To understand the requirements of the customer from the process & application
