Mangas Tool & Die was founded in 1967 by Victor & Bud Mangas with the purchase of $1,500 of used machinery. Today, with a 56,000-square-foot facility and the capability to engineer and build many forms of die cast tooling, the vision of the father and son team of over 40 years ago has come to fruition.
Design engineers study, research and develop ideas for new products and the systems used to create them. The role also includes analyzing existing products with a view to improving their efficiency and overall performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow directions of Engineering Manager.
- Design die cast dies and trim dies to meet customer specifications.
- Knowledge of die cast dies.
- Preferred Technical/Engineering continued educationpreferred.
- Experiencepreferred in die cast or mold design, solid modeling, drafting and tool design.
- Strong engineering and manufacturing background.
