• Responsible for the design and analysis of secondary flow system in gas turbine engines. 
• Conduct analysis using Honeywell internal design tools and/or commercially available analysis CFD packages such as CFX, Fluent or STAR-CCM. 
• The candidate should have a strong background in subject matters such as thermal and fluid flow sciences. 
• Candidate is expected to participate in design teams to perform multi-discipline engineering tasks associated with the design, development, and testing of engine secondary flow systems. 
• Assigned tasks include but not limited to carrying out analysis of existing designs and new design, support engine and component rig testing, and associated data reduction/interpretation as needed. 


Basic Qualifications 
• Candidate must have a bachelor degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in design and analysis of thermal fluid systems. Master degree in lieu of experience 
• Must be a US citizen or US permanent resident due to ITAR 

Additional Qualifications 
• Knowledge and experience working with CAD software is preferred. 
• Ability to perform risk assessments and problem solving with root cause analysis. 
• Ability to recognize and to utilize a teaming approach to resolve complex engineering problems. 
• Strong written and oral communication skills 
• Effective listening skills and flexibility in approach to resolve complex engineering problems.
