Summary / Description
We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Program Manager to join our team in Fairmont, WV, to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.
In this role you will be responsible for managing a complex cybersecurity program, overseeing program budget and schedules and directing staff. You will also have primary responsibility for program growth and for marketing new technology or follow-on business acquisitions.
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
Has a progessive background of program and project management of diverse teams in Cybersecurity programs.
Has managed Cybersecurity IT Operations, enterprise applications, and service desk operations.
Has managed programs of at least 50 people.
Builds and maintains high team morale, positively cascades all organizational communications. Promotes and ensures acceptable standard of team behavior. Strives to develop a cohesive and motivated team who adhere to the behavioral expectations. Facilitates groups to establish appropriate goals and encourages movement towards project and program outcomes. Utilizes resources according to their ability to contribute successfully to the project. Addresses and removes barriers that undermine a diverse workforce. Balances project objectives to achieve overall program goals.
Manages changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques to keep the project plan accurate, updated, and reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan; facilitates client acceptance of the scope change. Manages the ambiguity associated with change initiatives by continually identifying and addressing evolving implications at the project and program level. Manages resistance to change by understanding the underlying motivations and, where possible, removing barriers to acceptance.
Creates an environment where risks are communicated as challenges and opportunities.
Documents risks, assumptions, and constraints using historical data and expert judgment in order to understand project limitations. Implements actions required to avoid or mitigate project risks to minimize the impact on the project. Balances and analyzes risks associated with highly complex decisions. Reviews risks associated with each project to evaluation the impact on the overall program.
Monitor and Control Project Work:
Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders. Sees the projects and responsibilities in relation to the wider organization. Understands the businesses into which they are delivering, including cross-functional business domains. Understands the interdependences of various project and program components and plans accordingly to meet milestones. Adjusts or adapts methods and procedures if there are serious implications for project delivery. Thinks in a system-wide, cross-boundary terms before defining a problem-solving initiative.
Ensures a common understanding by setting expectations, using the Project Plan, to align the stakeholders and team members. Communicates effectively and confidently with senior management within Unisys and the client to ensure key stakeholder buy-in. Explains the strategic benefits of decisions to team members. Establishes and articulates processes, plans and procedures internally to clarify expectations around delivery of the project or the program.

Top Secret SCI clearance
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant work experience.
Familiar with FAR and DFAR requirements
Formal training on a recognized SIEM
