Job Description :
The Deputy Program Manager for the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program will support the Program Manager leading an Integrated Product Team to achieve business objectives, in accordance with the contract requirements.
Meet the needs of the customer to include: financial targets, quality specifications, scheduled delivery dates and interfacing with the customer and foreign country end user.
In addition, you are responsible for engaging with and directing all internal and external resources required for successful execution of the program.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Meeting all internal and external requirements for the Program, including financial, safety, quality, compliance, technical and supply chain.
Develop working relationships with customer counterparts, suppliers, Sikorsky Aircraft leadership team, and the FAFO and DFC management team members to ensure program success.
Support process improvement using tools to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
- 5+ years of work experience
- 2+ years of government program/project management
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interface with all levels of senior leadership and external suppliers/customers and operate in a highly matrixed organization under the direction of the Defense Systems and Services leadership.
Experience with COS, SAP, Winsight Primavera a plus.
