GCS, Inc. is currently seeking an on-site Deputy Program Manager to support an upcoming federal project, in Greenbelt, MD..


  • The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) must be responsive to client for the business needs of the task order. PM will be responsible to meet, coordinate, monitor and report program and project management activities to the client.

  • The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) will assist the PM as a point of contact responsible for all performance, services, objectives, tasks and deliverables under this SOW

  • Manage resources and supervise contractor staff in the performance of all work .

  • Assist in the responsibility for the success of this work.

  • Ensure that the schedule, standards, reporting, and subcontract management responsibilities are met

  • Actively pursue solutions to correct deficiencies

  • Assist the PM in interfacing with the Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Government Program Manager

  • Maintain performance requirements

  • Prepare and present quarterly Program Management Reviews (PMR) which will cover at a minimum, the program’s status on cost, schedule, performance, risk management and status of deliverables

  • Provide customer satisfaction oversight and corrective action implementation to resolve actual or customer perceived discrepancies in service


Demonstrated skills:

- Experience (6 years) leading projects and programs for DoD and / or other Federal Agencies.

- Management experience must be in programs with particular relevance to the acquisition career field.

-Reviewing procurement requests, prepares and reviews justification and approvals;
- Preparing solicitations incorporating all the correct provisions and clauses; analyzes bids/proposals;
- Determining compliance and conformance to the solicitations;
