The Carlisle Group has been retained to search for a Dentist. Our client is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The headquarters is in Harrisburg, PA. This opportunity is for their location in Newport, PA. They currently have 7 locations and 3 satellite offices. Provides efficient delivery of quality dental care to all patients of the Center. Delivers standard dental care to patients utilizing the current dental processes of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interact with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standard of professional provider care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Incumbent must demonstrate knowledge of special health care services, with experience in clinical or non-profit service delivery organizations preferred. Must be able to communicate politely and courteously with people from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds and be comfortable working with individuals with HIV disease. Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision but also must be a team player with strong organizational and communication skills, able to establish and maintain harmonious, productive working relationships with the Center’s management, physicians, clinicians, and the public.
Must be a graduate from an ADA accredited dental school with a DDS or DMD degree, hold a current or renewable PA dental license, have an unblemished record of licensure with the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry, have a current DEA or CPR certification, be FTCA eligible, able to be credentialed in the corporate credentialing programs and insurance plans and have at least five (5) years of dental practice experience in the private or public sector. Position is a professional classification and a provider of the company. Incumbent must be flexible to meet the physical activity requirements and must be flexible for call coverage
