operates as a business unit within Plex Systems. In support of our ongoing growth and market expansion, we are looking for a dynamic and collaborative Product Marketing (Senior) Manager to join the team. The position reports into the Sr. Director of Marketing for DemandCaster and is located in our office in Pleasanton, CA or our Troy, MI headquarters. A remote working situation will be considered for highly qualified candidates. Additional responsibilities include the following:

  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for the DemandCaster product, including positioning, value statements, market segmentation, target customer definition, and core message development
  • Research, define, and communicate attributes of target personas, buyer needs, and the purchasing decision process for DemandCaster
  • Serve as a supply chain SME and product evangelist/spokesperson; function as a leading product representative at industry events and conferences, during demand generation activities such as webinars, with press and industry analysts, in support of prospect meetings, as well as at customer events
  • Provide market and buyer insights to drive the development of campaign strategies including new-customer demand creation as well as customer retention
  • Define and create engaging content and sales tools that position DemandCaster as a leading authority in supply chain planning, drive demand from new prospects, and help to accelerate pipeline and improve close rates
  • Collaborate with marketing and professional services resources to develop customer references, testimonials, and case studies for external and internal use
  • Collaborate with peers and business unit leadership on product packaging and pricing strategies
  • Provide competitive and market intelligence
  • Participate in sales enablement activities to ensure sales representatives and sales support staff are equipped to effectively sell DemandCaster into current and future markets
  • Lead and execute as needed, launch activities for new product capabilities, such as updates to existing web content and tools, development of media messages, training of market-facing staff, etc.
  • Execute win/loss interviews; assimilate the findings and communicate needed improvements
  • Influence product development through well-defined market requirements


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of product marketing or product management experience
  • Supply chain experience/knowledge is required
  • Sales or sales support experience is a plus
  • Strong writing, communication, presentation development and delivery skills
