DEMAND PLANNING MANAGER:
The Demand Planning Manager will partner with Finance, Marketing, Operations and Sales to develop an accurate demand forecast for existing SKU’s. Responsible for integrating data from Finance, Marketing and Sales into timely forecasts to support Operations, Sales and Financial planning. Provides smoothing of forecast assumptions across functional teams, including seasonal trends, promotional activities, new product launch volumes, additional points of distribution and changes to major customer planograms.
As a key member of the cross-functional S&OP team, this role is responsible for understanding and supporting Manufacturing, Marketing and Financial processes in order to align with the forecasting process to ensure performance to plan. This person provides guidance and oversight of SKU-level forecasting to align with business plans and market trend data. They will integrate the demand forecast plans into the Supply Chain by working closely with the Planning and Procurement teams. They support the Supply Chain team by identifying key changes to plan and their associated impacts to the supply chain. The Demand Planning Manager identifies and actively monitors KPI’s and performs diagnostics to ensure forecast improvement and operational execution efforts. They will prepares written analyses, documentation, reports or other data to summarize performance of all related processes and subsequent results.
