Summary of role:
The Delivery Manager is responsible for supporting one team. S/He works closely with Product Owner, Tech Leads, and team members to support teams in resolving impediments and coordinating cross-team dependencies. The Delivery Manager is self-sufficient and can help to maintain a team’s agile practices.
Creates a transparent, collaborative, open, and trustful environment where teams can work efficiently and deliver high-quality products quickly;
Promotes self-organization and cross-functionality within team and promotes effective conflict resolution on the team;
Assists the team in making appropriate commitments;
Organizes and facilitates effective team ceremonies (e.g., backlog grooming, sprint and release planning sessions, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews (demos), and retrospectives);
Prevents team distractions, identifies and leads the impediments-solving process, and escalates risks and issues if necessary;
Promotes open and transparent collaboration and alignment with stakeholders and other functional areas, including Finance, Agile Teams and Business Units;
Ensures that all deployment activities are coordinated with our Cloud Operations team;
Understands agile / lean values and practices and proactively seeks out opportunities to grow
Basic Qualifications of the Delivery Manager :
BA/BS in Computer Science (or equivalent relevant work experience).
3-5 years experience delivering software / web products in an agile/lean environment as a scrummaster or equivalent agile role.
Demonstrated ability to help teams improve the way they work together and deliver outcomes.
Good understanding and experience with agile principles and practices.
Proven results from leading organizational change or team building
Strong presentation, facilitator skills
