Defense Strategic Communications and Technical Writing Expert
Key Role:
Support a range of communications from strategic communications planning to execution, including planning and facilitation of technical workshops, workforce brown bags, town halls, and other events, developing marketing campaigns for those events, and leading other client communications initiatives, including large-scale outreach campaigns to engage the technical stakeholders and drive acceptance of client policies. Draft and edit a variety of communications materials and products, including talking points, leadership communications, marketing copy, newsletter content, and website content. Analyze policy documents. Work independently and contribute to the team in a collaborative, creative environment. Support DoD and US Government internal and external communications and media, including professional briefings, emails, web announcements, reports, policy documents, conference presentations, and even limited speech writing to help clients and our team deliver the right messages. Contribute to DoD policy analysis in our areas of expertise. Work independently and take documents, briefings, and other materials all the way through to client-ready completion without substantial oversight is essential. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
