Performs quality and management performance improvement activities, information tracking, trending and reporting, project facilitation and statistical analysis to identify areas of opportunity to improve patient care and/or improve cost efficient patient care and may include medical staff patient care review and peer review coordination. Works in a team environment to design, build data fields, implement requirements for assigned databases/registries to support various reporting and research initiatives. Responsible for clinical database(s) management, training, and utilization. Maintains knowledge of registry definitions to ensure compliance with all database requirements. Possesses advanced knowledge of all phases of assigned areas to abstract data to input and maintain data for submission. Maximizes the use of available data, for information tracking, trending and reporting, project facilitation and statistical analysis for clinical and basic research projects. Maintains data integrity and regulatory and confidentiality as applicable.
Three years experience in healthcare nursing/quality and/or equivalent healthcare experience
BS degree in Nursing, Business or Healthcare Administration OR equivalent healthcare experience
Proficient computer skills
RN or CPHQ
