Overview

Miller Heiman Group is seeking an innovative, driven, goal-oriented DatabaseMarketing Director who will play a crucial role in managing, developing, and optimizing our digital marketing programs. The DatabaseMarketing Director will drive more inbound leads, build and maintain our position as a thought leader with our current client base, and expand our prospect base. This role provides a unique ability for you to tap into your creative, strategic and analytical skills which are key to our marketing success and will play a major role in the continued growth of Miller Heiman Group’s marketing strategy. 


Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and monitor lead generation and lead nurture campaigns
  • Build email campaigns that focus on various trigger events within the prospect/customer life cycle
  • Build and Manage email calendar to ensure that all campaigns are created, updated, and scheduled
  • Ensure all email programs are aligned to and coordinated with, the efforts of the Directors of Marketing, Social Media, and Web to create an integrated campaign across all channels
  • Consistently research data and techniques for better, more effective campaigns, landing pages, CTA’s, and content optimization
  • Develop email channelsales targets
  • A/B test and continually measuring the performance of key conversion points in the marketing funnel, including emails, subject lines, landing pages, website CTA’s and lead-generation forms
  • Optimize demand gen and conversion path success for marketing team with creative ideas for blog, social post, event, and email campaign content
  • Perform detailed analyses across programs, campaigns, and segments and make actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Oversight for marketing analytics and optimization, including ROI evaluation of campaigns
  • Leverage analytics to drive future campaign strategy and budgetary investment decisions
  • Be the in house expert on performance, technological, and legal issues concerning email marketing. This role should know when to send emails and how to keep content fresh while monitoring and optimizing campaigns to meet KPI’s
  • Create and manage list building efforts to ensure the overall health and growth of our email channel


Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in an email and/or digital marketing role
  • Must know the ins and outs of Marketo and be happy swimming in it! You will need to manage and optimize marketing automation/lead nurturing processes through Marketo
  • Understanding and experience with SalesForce.com (preferred)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written (Internally and externally)
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle detailed work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects through to tactical execution
  • Experience in leading and optimizing an enterprise-level email program
  • Analytic thinking skills
  • Ability to drive improvement by providing best practices
  • Knowledge HTML/CSS, Google Adwords, Google Analytics and Wordpress (a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and apply creative solutions to complex issues
  • Strong customer focus with strong written and verbal skill. High level of personal drive and energy, someone who is detail-oriented
  • Strong presentation skills with fluent knowledge of Microsoft office suite
