The CAGS program is responsible for performing analysis of the full spectrum GEOINT assets by maintaining expertise in all associated tradecraft; including Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR), Electro-Optical (EO), Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), Overhead Persistent Infra- red (OPIR), Geospatial Information and Services (GI&S), Wide Area Persistent Surveillance (WAPS), geospatial data processing, analysis and modeling, and general intelligence analysis. You will develop, assess, review, analyze, and make recommendations concerning GEOINT capabilities, system requirements, development, personnel, communications, logistics, and other functions deemed necessary by the TTM; ensure Government GEOINT community is kept abreast of emerging technological developments that enhance the Army’s ability to leverage GEOINT. Familiarity and expertise with all national, theater, and commercial GEOINT collection assets to include Aerial Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (A-ISR) platforms is required to provide input on GEOINT collection strategies for supported commands/agencies as required, including the effective use and integration of GEOINT in multi-INT collection plans.

More About the Role:

  • Demonstrate mastery and employment of geographic and geospatial scientific principles, tools, and analytical techniques, the majority of which to be reflected throughout relevant prior experience.
  • Demonstrate experience and proficiency with data science techniques including (but not limited to) logistic regression, vector, natural language processing, principal component analysis, clustering techniques, neural networks, deep learning models, image recognition and algorithm employment or development in support of any of the foregoing.
  • Demonstrate experience and proficiency with tabular analysis, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, Julia, etc.) to deliver unique insights otherwise unobtainable.
  • Familiarity with agile software development project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) to deliver new capability.
  • Demonstrate experience employing a diverse set of structured analytical methods against complex problems (e.g., quality of information, risk assessment, analysis of competing hypotheses, mind maps, link analysis, high-impact/low-probability analysis, alternative futures, etc.).



You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
  • Bachelor of Science from an accredited institution of higher learning in a STEM-related discipline plus ten (10) years of relevant experience

OR

  • Post-graduate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in a STEM-related discipline plus five (5) years of relevant experience.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with IT, business, or operational metrics platforms (e.g., Splunk, Elastic, Confluence, etc.)
  • Certification in AWS (AI/ML specialty).
  • Knowledge of the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) tasking, collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination (TCPED) production chain.
  • Experience working within a DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) operational environment and with DoD/IC geospatial data repositories.
  • Familiarity with Army, DoD or IC GEOINT or Geospatial processes, policy and programs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools to deliver reports, graphics and briefings.
