This position will handle data and perform related tasks from the full range of projects including Molecular, IHC, Flow Cytometry, MultiOmyx, FISH, and Cytogenetics.

•              Participate in SOW development to scope data transfer requirements when requested

•              Coordinate with sponsor and internal project team to define & execute data transfer plan; May own the task, or provide mentorship to the task owner

•              Transcribe results & demographics data from hardcopy to digital by typing or other methods

•              Manipulate digital data per sponsor data transfer specifications, either manually or via verified scripts

•              Perform data QC activities and record the associated evidence

•              Insure data quality certificate is completed and filed

•              Proactively coordinate with multiple Project Managers, QA, and other functions as needed to complete data entry / QC / QA / transfer activities

•              Develop and perform data storage and archiving processes

•              Solving complex problems, both technical and nontechnical

•              Upload files to sponsor-specified data transfer sites or portable hard drives

•              Data reconciliation

•              Design, code, and test routines for automating data export, merge, and/or formatting

•              Formally verify & document automated data export, merge, or formatting code; includes the associated planning and coordination with QA and other participating functions

•              Complete projects within established timelines with required quality

•              Participate in & help drive work assignments; adjust personal schedule to meet department needs

Experience & Required Qualifications:

•              Education:· Bachelor's Degree in computer science or other field relevant to data management in a healthcare setting is required; Advanced degree is preferred.

•              Experience:3 years performing the full range of data management responsibilities including data entry, writing & executing data transfer specifications, and coding / verifying automation to facilitate data transfers in a healthcare setting; experience in a clinical trial setting is preferred.

•              Certification:Six Sigma and/or PMP certification are preferred

•              Accurate fast data entry via typing: This will be verified as part of the interview process.

•              MS Excel, Outlook, Word

•              Technical writing

•              Coding skills relevant to building electronic data transfers (e.g., Visual Basic for Applications or similar).

•              Adept at building electronic data transfers.

•              SFTP, ExcelSafe, STDM, SAS, and/or Visio are preferred.

•              Strong interpersonal skills sufficient for developing productive professional working relationships with a diverse variety of colleagues & clients.

•              Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•              Proactive, organized, detail-oriented

•              Can work quickly & accurately

•              Motivated to work independently and within a team environment

•              Willing to work in a biohazard environment and follow safety policies and standards outlined in the Safety Manual
