Responsibilities

As a Data Management Analyst, Senior you will perform and/or provide leadership, coordination, and direction to department staff in the analysis and reporting of geospatial data related to Transmission & Distribution (T&D) assets and/or other specialized data; assist in the development and implementation of special projects related to web & mobile data management & visualization, geodatabase data stewardship, and modeling of GIS-based downstream systems. Serves as technical resource to GIS Mapping department, T&D business unit and other personnel on all dimensions of research, performance measurement, and/or workflow enhancement.

Preferred Skills:

Seeking someone like you with strong working knowledge of one or more of the following: database administration/ management spatial analysis, geometric network modeling, mobile application implementation, data queries/analytics, and geographic information systems; possess comprehensive technical knowledge of queries, analytics, automation, and graphic/cartographic representations and the ability to apply this knowledge to serve the needs of an electrical transmission and distribution organization.

Develop and maintain the APS GIS database systems to maintain the highest standard of data integrity; to include the training and advice to key business users, IT solution engineers, integration project teams.

Minimum Requirements

  • BS degree in Business, Engineering, Math or related field
  • and three (3) years of experience in energy performance statistics, power cost factors, and cost/budgeting;
  • or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • requires strong working knowledge of one or more of the following:
  • budget and forecast techniques, power system operations and maintenance factors, plant performance statistics and power production cost factors; possess comprehensive technical knowledge of power plant operation, APS accounting and/or computer systems and the ability to apply this knowledge in proven analytical skills/methods; posses human relations skills, in addition to strong communication skills to present technical and complex information in a clear and understandable manner; knowledge of FERC and ACC regulations is preferred for some positions.
