Our work depends on a Data Management Analyst joining our team located in San Antonio, TX.
The Data Management Analyst shall utilize various databases and analytic tools to provide data and analysis on TRICARE pharmacy data using reporting and analysis tools such as Business Objects and/or SAS.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Compile reports and perform analysis for pharmacy data (e.g. utilization, demographic, patient level, provider level, claim level, pricing, etc.)
- Use various databases and analysis tools (e.g. Business Objects, SAS Enterprise Guide, M2, pharmacy contractor databases, Microsoft Access, Medical Data Repository (MDR), Pharmacy Medication Analysis and Reporting Tool (P-MART), etc.) for report development.
- Provide analysis of testing and validation of reports and metrics using data from the Pharmacy Data Transaction Service (PDTS)
- Provide end user support for SAS, Business Objects, and other database tools
- Identify and assist in resolution of data issues with TPharm and PDTS contractors
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- 3+ years of experience with data analysis using Business Objects or SAS
- 1+ year of experience providing data and analytical support to the DHA Pharmacy Operations Division
- Ability to understand performance metrics (e.g. graphs, charts, percentages, goals, etc.) and communicate the results to others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Individual must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal direction
