Want to join a team that owns and impacts the first line of defense privacy operating model in alignment with firmwide standards, ensuring measurable outcomes through effective engagement with business and privacy teams?

As a Data Management Lead, with the Governance and Control Team, you will provide senior leadership in delivering business impact through the governance and execution of privacy requirements and  operate in a high-profile environment, partnering with Payments leadership, product teams, and Privacy stakeholders to deliver on CIB objectives and strengthen the firm’s privacy control framework.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

 

  • Deep expertise in privacy laws and regulations and experience leading privacy program implementation and advising on privacy requirements
  • Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change across diverse teams
  • Ability to articulate clear, risk-based rationale for process and product decisions across geographically dispersed teams
  • Lead strategic initiatives to mature the CIB privacy program, advise on privacy requirements for new business and change initiatives with a strong focus on Payments. 
  • Ensure consistent execution of privacy and data protection requirements, including privacy impact assessments, procedures, and job aids. 
  • Represent the business in relevant committees and forums, provide transparent governance, reporting and metrics, and support readiness for regulatory exams, compliance testing, and audits.
  • Guide the design and implementation of controls to mitigate privacy risk, including Data Protection Impact Assessments.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

 

  • Experience in banking or financial services
  • Privacy certification (e.g., CIPP)
