The Deloitte Global Cybersecurity function is responsible for the firm's overall objectives of enhancing data protection, standardizing and securing critical infrastructure and gaining cyber visibility through security operations centers. The Cybersecurity organization delivers a comprehensive set of cybersecurity services to Deloitte member firms through regional delivery hubs and a Global Fusion Center. We are seeking a Data Classification and Rights Management Regional Service Manager to join the team.

The Data Classification and Rights Management Regional Service Manager reports to the Data Classification and Rights Management Service Owner. The role focuses on delivery, operations and support of our global data classification and enterprise rights management technology to Deloitte member firms. The primary focus of the position is support for Microsoft Azure Information Protection and related services. The candidate should have demonstrated expertise in the relevant technologies, ability to deliver excellent service as part of a diverse, international team.

  • Supports the Data Classification and Rights Management Service Owner in adoption, growth and development of the service
  • Be responsible for the ongoing operations and enhancements for Data Classification and Rights Management Service
  • Lead and grow a team of analysts to support the evolving needs of the service
  • Identify and recommend areas for service improvements (as required)
  • Assist with special projects (as required)


  • Supports the day-to-day operations of the Data Classification and Rights Management service
  • Line manager for Data Classification and Rights Management Regional Senior Analyst role
  • Manages coverage for support within the regional time zone
  • Manages planned and emergency changes by maintaining a change request record
  • Manages support incidents raised by member firms and escalation with vendor (as needed)
  • Maintains service level objectives by resolving incidents and service requests in a timely fashion
  • Oversee troubleshooting of Azure Information Protection infrastructure whenever required
  • Performs periodic health checks and share reports with stakeholders
  • Gathers data per KPIs defined and shares with Lead Architect for inputs
  • Maintains/upgrades decryption process (as required)
  • Develop and maintain documentation of key processes (as required)

Location: The preferred candidate for this role will be based in the Americas (Arlington, VA preferred). This role supports a global initiative, where a key portion of the work can be performed virtually, and as such candidates can be based in several locations across our network. Relocation is therefore not required or offered.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ year as a service manager, ideally within a large company with a geographically dispersed customer/user base
  • 10+ years of experience within an IT/technical environment
  • Experience with troubleshooting issues and assisting to mitigate issues, including root cause analysis
  • Experience with supporting client-server technologies
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse client groups, preferably on a global basis, with ability to manage concurrent initiatives and use effective judgment in prioritization and time management
  • Experience of working within a service management framework e.g. ITIL
  • Ability to work independently under pressure with competing priorities while consistently producing best-in-class deliverables
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Information Protection and/or AD-RMS
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Azure AD and/or O365 services
  • Excellent problem solving, research, and analytical skills
  • Strong operational and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to lead a team to deliver excellent service

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with Service Now is a plus
  • Professional security management certification strongly desirable, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or other similar credentials
  • Windows infrastructure engineering experience is a plus
  • Experience working on global projects is a plus
  • Experience working in a virtual team is a plus
  • Experience with PowerShell command-line scripting is a plus
  • Experience with one or more of the following development languages is a plus: C/C++, Java, Objective C, C#
