Responsible for identifying, developing and closing business in Lenovo's Data Center Group (DCG). Responsibilities include managing Public Sector accounts (SLED, inclusive of government, Higher Education and K12) across North Texas and Oklahoma. Specific focus in selling Lenovo's System X platforms both their entry Thinkserver platform and the newly acquired System X portfolio from IBM.
Primary responsibilities including building pipeline across the territory and managing to a quarterly sales objective. Sales responsibility includes Lenovo's storage offerings as well as services. Relationship building, extensive face to face sales experience and experience in the Public Sector market a must.
- 7-10 years of field sales experience in the technology
industry (preferably server / storage /networking)
- Extensive experience selling into SLED / Public Sector
- Experience and understanding of state and local
- Proven high performance seller and excellent
relationship building skills
