We are looking for Data Architect for our client in Orlando, FL

Job Title: Data Architect

Job Location: Orlando, FL

Job Type: Contract ? 12 Months / Contract to Hire / Direct Hire

Job Description:

  • Hands on experience in Charles River
  • Front Office tradingexperience
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Candidate should have knowledge of the trade flow process, i.e. order generation, trading and settlements.
  • Candidate should have knowledge of wide variety of asset types like Equities, Fixed Income, Futures, Options, Swaps, FX, Forward
  • Requires hands on prior experience in Charles River, with extensive experience in
  • Configuring the manager workbench
  • FIX configuration
  • Blotter
  • Compliance
  • Groups and User privileges
  • Commission and fees
  • Stored queries
  • Result sets etc.
  • Excellent interaction with Front Office users like Portfolio Managers and traders
  • Candidate must have exceptional communication skills, the ability to work directly with various business teams, display creative problem solving skills and the desire to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Strong individual contributor with high motivation, and the ability to take initiative, set priorities and perform tasks with minimal guidance
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, ability to work with many internal and external parties like brokers, market data providers, EMS
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, T- SQL and understanding of the Charles River database table structure a huge plus
  • Support and co-ordinate the various phases of testing; System Integration, Regression and User Acceptance Testing
  • Perform data analysis to support tasks as required

Here is the additional JD:

  • Knowledge of C#, WCF, Windows Forms
  • Knowledge of SQL Server
  • Knowledge of OOD and programming best practices
  • Experience with SVN
  • Ideal candidate would have a strong technical background in the trading field
  • Knowledge of financial instruments
  • Demonstrable skills producing documentation
  • Excellent written and oral communication Fluency in English
  • Experience in agile development practices like Scrum
  • A Team Player able to self-manage within a Scrum team working to tight deadlines
  • Solid problem solving ability and analytical skills as well as outstanding communication skills
