Position Summary

Working as embedded technical expert as part of an integrated cross-functional team, the Analytics Data Engineer Analyst develops data solutions for analytics projects in their immediate business unit. This role is expected to provide expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of relational databases using supported enterprise IT platforms and guidelines. Analytics Data Engineers excel at wrangling data, and integrating data from non-traditional sources like NoSQL databases, web services/APIs, and flat text files. To support these needs, Analytics Data Engineers work in conjunction with Information Services to research, prototype, and pilot emerging analytics tools and platforms. This role further promotes the analytical operations of the business unit by assisting with data visualization, report automation, and the development of self-service dashboard solutions using enterprise supported platforms.


Basic Qualifications:
Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in in computer science, application programming, software development, information systems, database administration, mathematics, engineering, or other related field
Experience - 2 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities
