As an analyst, you will be an integral member of the practice and develop solutions to the most complex and strategic issues faced by our clients.

The analyst role will support the Valuation Services team and help build and redesign templates and online tools. Our Valuation Services practice provides transaction advice and expert opinions related to the value of business enterprises, arrangements, and various asset categories for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to regulatory compliance, fair value accounting, business and transaction planning, and litigation support.

Primary responsibilities for this role include valuation modeling, report writing, data analytics, database management, data visualization, and senior-level staff support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help manage, update, and develop proprietary models, databases, and online client tools and resources.
  • Support the practice in analytical endeavors.
  • Conduct research and analysis of markets and industries.
  • Assist with report preparation to document the analysis.
  • Prepare client presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
  • Perform calculation checks on Microsoft Excel models.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with engagement team members and client personnel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information management, data analytics, computer science, or statistical disciplines
  • At least two years of experience with data analytics, preferably in healthcare
  • Experience and exposure to manipulation and management of relational databases and large data sets; proficiency in SQL or similar programs and in statistical analysis tools like R
  • Experience with developing and maintaining online platforms; proficiency with HTML, PHP, or similar languages
  • Advanced MS Excel modeling experience; preferably experience with macro design/VBA coding
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with data visualization using tools like Tableau or Power Pivot/Power BI preferred
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced demanding environment and fully manage your own time and the overall project timeline
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel on short notice, when requested
