The Mainframe as a Service DB2 Infrastructure Support team is looking for an experienced Data Base Systems Analyst (DBSA) with a proven track record to maintain and implement Z/OS DB2 solutions and related utilities across the enterprise. As a DBSA your daily job will be a combination of support and maintenance activities as well as working with vendors to implement fixes and new solutions. You will be working with an established team that is highly experienced, knowledgeable and values teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of z/OS configuration concepts
Understanding of z/OS storage concepts
Understanding of z/OS networking concepts
5+ years of IBM Db2 Data Sharing environment as a Systems Programmer Third Party Vendor Product installation, maintenance and support experience including:
• BMC Db2 Administration Tools and Utilities Experience installing and maintaining DB2 and third party software using SMP/E
5+ years IBM z/OS Operating System experience
5+ years of JES2 and JCL experience
5+ years on TSO/ISPF experience
Working with vendors to open issues and provide documentation
Experience with:
• Unix System Services
• Scripting Languages like REXX, CLIST or SAS
• RACF security
• Disaster Recovery exercise

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the SMPE process for DB2 and related products
• Manage the installation, maintenance and support of the DB2
• Data Sharing groups on our z/OS platforms, as well as non-data sharing subsystems
• Manage the installation, maintenance and support of DB2 related tools on our z/OS platforms
• Manage the installation, maintenance and support of data replication products on z/OS
• Monitor DB2 for stability and recommend/implement actions to address issues
• Support periodic Disaster Recovery exercises
• Evaluate new DB2 developments and help determine impact to infrastructure and applications using DB2
• Build and support automation
• On call rotation for DB2 support items
