Project Background: Client ?s Accident & Health Division (AHD) has many different insurance product lines - College sports marketing, Horse Mortality, Travel, Pet Insurance, Occupational, etc. Many of these clients use different systems that generate data. Once a month, Client needs this data from its clients. Till now, the reporting has been standardized across all lines of Business. Client is making the format more project specific, e.g. Travel will list departure city, arrival city, duration, etc. Horse Mortality may list name of vet, where animal is stabled, etc. These clients need to send data once a month to Client consisting of premium collected and claims paid. The consultant will travel to client locations and spend one week there understanding what systems are in place, can reports be run, can queries be run agains the systems, etc. - basically Requirements gathering. After the client visit of one week, the consultant will work on a solution offsite, have it tested by Client?s IT, and then deployed to the client. The idea is that each client takes 3 weeks to complete. The goal is hit 6-10 clients. The first week will be in Client ?s AHD office in Eatontown, New Jersey for project overview and on boarding. There will 2 interviews: Client?s IT team (phone or in-person) and then Client ?s AHD Division (in person in New Jersey). Local candidates with excellent communication skills. P&C/Speciality Insurance experience is a must.
First four Crum clients are located in Cincinnati, OH; Marietta, GA; Dallas, TX; and Irving, TX. Consultant will need to travel to these locations and be there onsite for one week. There will be otherlocations added once the project starts.
Consultant Developer for Partner Automation
This position will work directly with our clients at the direction of Client on automating a process to extract data files from our client?s systems and transmitting sFTP. We are looking for this position to travel to our client locations and work directly with the organization?s principal and/or staff to develop processes that assist with data file coordination, loading, cleanup, and identifying discrepancies and errors on data files. This position requires the capability to aggregate various data files, manipulate data in Excel, Python, relational databases or othertechnologies and create standardized Excel output files. Clients may require various Excel output layouts depending upon the products they support. The expectation is that all solutions will be developed and deployed in 3-5 months from initial engagement.
The consultant will be responsible for providing the project sponsor and client management updates as requested. The software developed will be owned by Client and licensed to the client for their use. The consultant will be required to support and maintain the deployed solutions for 12months after delivery.
? Ability to work on projects utilizing technologies such as MS Access, Excel, Google Sheets, PDFs (data extraction). Output Format will be MS Excel.
? Ability collaborate with non-technical people to understand the business process required to manually create the Excel files
