Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the field sales force, and are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation and solution design stages of the sales process. Working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate, the Sales Engineer must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure satisfaction and delivery through all stages of the sales, design, and installation process. The Sales Engineer is responsible for coordinating post-sale with the network, security, and field teams for delivery. The Sales Engineer must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships both within the company and with customers throughout the sales and delivery cycle.
