In this role, the Systems Engineer provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Also provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers, as well as dispatching system and hardware problems while remaining involved in the resolution process.
Additionally, the Systems Engineer is responsible for configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems and installing/loading operating system software, troubleshooting, maintaining integrity and configuring network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
-Fourteen (14) years' experience as a System Engineer
-Solid Tier-3 level VMWare skills
-Cisco UCS familiarity
- A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college
-OR (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
