Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking Cyber Systems Administrator 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction, MD.
Description of Position:
The Systems Administrator provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems; manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems; provides
support to IT systems including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems; provides second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolutions of problems; provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process; provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers; and possesses experience in one or more systems and architectures and associated hardware: mainframe, mini, or client/server based.
• 5 years of Linux/Windows system administration (testing, operating, maintaining, and loading OS/software)
• Physical and virtual networking background
• Deployment of network switches, firewalls, servers and VPNs
• IAT Level 2 compliance (Security + CE, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional system administration experience on projects with similar environments may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Associates requires two (2) additional years.
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph is required.
