Cyber Security Specialist�s coordinate and manage all aspects and logistics of the end-to-end engagement process with business lines, Technology Services, project teams and Supply Chain Services.� Additionally they provide overall program support to cybersecurity management and manage efforts within the Cybersecurity Office based on changing priorities to help enable business line strategy, protect the bank and improve the colleague and customer experience.


Primary responsibilities Include:�

  • Coordinating all aspects of the end-to-end engagement and intake processes for projects requiring cybersecurity risks assessments to be completed
  • Aligning with business lines to better understand their goals, security concerns, road map, required capabilities and common risk themes and assisting in end-to-end risk assessments to ascertain a clear view of a business line�s overall security posture, including risks that threaten the business�
  • Project management of initiatives in the Cybersecurity portfolio, including mergers and acquisitions
  • Building and developing a capability and competency of Cybersecurity knowledge and practice by actively engaging in learning and development of skills
  • Working closely with business lines, technology, third-party vendors and the project teams to research and address issues while driving the completion of deliverables
  • Conducting risk-based assessments for projects in the portfolio
  • Participating in, and overseeing security assessments: FFIEC CAT, NIST and Cybersecurity scorecards
  • Completing resource engagement estimates, managing and tracking demand, approving resource requests, assignment of initiatives to Cybersecurity Consultants and maintaining project tracker
  • Assisting and contributing to additional projects and deliverables related to regulatory and audit requests as they pertain to Corporate Information Security as requested
  • Providing scheduled and ad-hoc reporting on the portfolio of projects, resources and other in-process initiatives


Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:�

  • 3 or more years of professional experience in an information security and/or risk environment
  • Customer-centric attitude and focus with very strong relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to work across business line and technology teams
  • Demonstrated project management and delivery experience
  • Self-sufficient way of working, hands-on mentality, very good analytical capabilities with diligent work attitude
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal
  • The ability to operate in a deadline-oriented environment, prioritize tasks and be a team player
  • Proven problem-solving skills with an ability to negotiate, influence and build consensus and to also deal with ambiguity and requests for change
  • Familiarity with Security Control organizations such as NIST, CSA, CIS, ISO, FFIEC, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and work under pressure

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:�

  • Bachelor�s Degree required - Degree in an IS/IT related discipline
  • Security, Risk and Project related certifications desired�

Hours & Work Schedule


Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM
