Provide Cyber Securitysupport to the Unit Combat & Command (UC2) program office, which is within the Battle Management Directorate, located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline.
A minimum of 3years work experience, with experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desirable.
Must have a current Security + certification. If not, then required to obtain cert within 90 days of employment.
Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to work in a multi-disciplined environment with an adaptive personality.
- Candidate should have excellent communication skills - both oral and written - and possess analytical skills to identify and fault isolate problems/issues, accurately assess relevance of information, generate and evaluate alternatives, and provide solution recommendations
Demonstrated knowledge of cloud based architecture is required.
- Candidate must be able to obtain, and maintain, the proper personnel clearance required for this position.
- Ensure engineering activities (analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring) best meets (as resources allow) established requirements (e.g., RMF, DIACAP, DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide).
Responsible for ensuring information systems are secure and that data maintained in these systems is protected from unauthorized access.
Evaluate current status of potential information system threats from casual intrusion to intrusions meant to permanently or irreparably degrade system performance of protection.
Understand cloud based architectures of both DoD Clouds & commercial clouds.
Interpret and analyze processing anomalies in major complex engineering systems and take corrective action
Develop, review, and refine Continuity of Operations (COOP) package documentation and related artifacts.
Perform validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures.
Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, and other technical documentation.
