The successful candidate will be able to effectively analyze all relevant cyber security event data and other information sources for suspicious network traffic, attack indicators and potential security breaches; produce reports, assist in coordination during incidents. A minimum of four years of experience with cyber analysts responding to cyber incidents caused by internal and external threats to Combatant Command constructed networks. A minimum of four years of experience executing command and control in any warfighting domain. A minimum of four years of experience operationalizing JFHQ DODIN CTOs. Possess an Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III qualifying certification or set of certifications. A minimum of four years of experience with DISA's Joint Regional Security Stack. A minimum of four years of experience with network defense tools such as routers, firewalls, intrusion prevention system (IPS), intrusion detection system (IDS), log correlations tools etc. A minimum of four years of experience with endpoint security such as anti-virus, vulnerability scanning and patch management. WORK LOCATION: This position will be a combination of remote and onsite support. Candidate must be able and willing to travel, as required, within the US SOUTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Cyber Security Analyst shall operationalize CTO compliance activities and the monitoring and management of all Combatant Commander's constructed networks. The Cyber Security Analyst shall be responsible for technical planning and leading, organizing, and motivating the team of contractors for all NOSC activities for USSOUTHCOM constructed networks. This includes, but is not limited to, the oversight and management of NOSC functions such as network monitor and management; Tier 3 CSSP management, analysis, infrastructure support, incident response, and auditing; JRSS O&M; SIEM O&M; and support to full-spectrum cyber operations.
It is required that the Cyber Security Analyst has the following qualifications:
a. Possess a fully adjudicated TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
