Provide expertise in the areas of software engineering, scripting, design, development, cyber operational tests and/or assessments; offensive and defensive cyber operations, and formulation/implementation of improvement initiatives. Conduct and/or direct the TTP planning to ensure all objectives can be accomplished and yield meaningful results, to include preparing comprehensive project and analysis plans. Direct/conduct analysis efforts to address objectives and document results in reports, briefings, and papers. Provide support to cyber strategic planning, analytical inputs to Air Force instructions and policy, information assurance (IA) TTP documentation for offensive and defensive cyber operations, Real-Time Operations and Innovation (RTOI), and CNO capability development.
Position Specific Responsibilities:
- Rapidly validate/disseminate TTPs to correct deficiencies or pursue new/improved TTPs; persistently verify existing TTPs against emerging threats and technologies; facilitate the development of new TTPs based on weapon system modifications to leverage new hardware, software, and operator capabilities.
- Analyze emerging Operational and Functional Requirements at the force, theater, Combatant Commands (CCMD) and national levels to support the formulation, development and assessment of doctrine, strategy, plans, concepts of operations, and tactics, techniques and procedures inorder to provide the full spectrum of Cyber Warfare and enabling capabilities to the warfighter Conduct technical analyses and provide an assessment report on the integration of cyber requirements, capabilities and training.
- Perform assessments of cyber warfighting capability and the utility of new and emerging technologies Institute and document a formal planning process to analyze assigned missions for capability gaps in CNO capabilities and recommend solutions.
- Provide expertise developing plans and procedures in compliance with AF guidance and regulations; perform a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized technology problems, to include integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems.
Security Clearance: Top Secret SCI – Willing to take Polygraph
Education/Certifications: BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with five (5) years of experience or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related scientific / technical field with three (3) years of experience; or equivalent combination Operations Planning and Strategic/Tactical Planning and Analysis, and Project Management
Relevant Experience: One to three (1-3) years of experience in Software Engineering or ScriptingLanguages, Operations Planning and Strategic/Tactical Planning/Analysis
Key Requirements: Tactics improvement proposal (TIP) development/support experience, tactics development initiative (TDI) program knowledge, TDI process experience, cyber needs form (CNF) knowledge.
