: Engility is hiring a systems engineer with cyber network defense experience to join our cyber team supporting the Government Customer's Computer Network Defense (CND) program.  The dedicated professionals supporting this effort develop a variety of security solutions. We provide mission-focused, end-to-end systes engineering and analytic expertise to enhance operationally deployed systems , guide the acquisition of complex systems under development, and architect future systems and technologies. This approach yields outstanding program execution, translating into mission success.
Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding customers’ requirements and have strong technical awareness and domain knowledge in Cyber Security and Information Assurance (IA)
  • Conducting technical risk evaluation of hardware, software, installed systems, and coordination of requirements across divisions
  • Preparing and updating project documentation as required by the Project Management Framework (PMF)

 

Qualifications

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Active DoD Directive 8140 IAT Level II or better cyber certification (i.e.,
  • Security+ CE, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), etc.)
  • Information Assurance (IA) Engineer needed with 5 years of IA Engineering
  • Experience with at least one (1) Intelligence Community (IC) agency
  • Familiarity with Cloud Cyber Defense Technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, VISIO, etc.)
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to new technical directions through coordination and collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Familiarity with federal government, DoD, and Intelligence Community
  • Compliance and audit requirements for IA in Cyber Security

 Desired Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, computer science, or information systems with systems engineering and security focus is desired
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is highly desired
