Essential Functions:

The Customer Strategist will work under the guidance of the VP of Strategy and Account Management and in cooperation with our analytics and technologies teams to perform a broad range of tasks including, but not limited to the following:

  • Liaise with client to identify and diagnose specific business problems and/or opportunities and develop solution strategies and tactics to solve within our platform
  • Lead and/or collaborate with colleagues to develop unique and innovative solutions (technical, analytical and strategic) that reflect audience data insights and client specific business opportunities and applications
  • Evaluate and recommend process improvements and enhancements to existing engagements
  • Partner with our analytics teams to inform clients’ understanding of their audience and ways in which they can be segmented and targeted for both external advertisers and internal marketing efforts
  • Leverage market, customer, competitive and best practice insights to help our clients to develop executable customer strategies, and measurable programs and tactics
  • As a client trusted advisor, educate client about the ever-evolving multi-screen landscape
  • Participate as a thought-leader through blogs, white-papers, case studies and speaking engagements
  • Play a key role in Quaero new business development efforts through contribution to new business pitches, proposal responses and other new business pursuit efforts
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps and opportunities in the marketplace
  • Conduct research, stakeholder interviews, brainstorming sessions, and on digital projects conducting things like, features and functionality workshops
  • Select appropriate frameworks, tools and approaches to use in solving client problems 


  • 8+ years’ experience in sales and marketing strategy, digital marketing, CRM and or marketing communications 
  • 5 years Client facing experience at a marketing/advertising agency required
  • Strong client experience and expertise in marketing strategy development, tactical planning, measurement, and project management across broadcast and digital properties 
  • Experience with data-driven program design, execution and measurement
  • BI power user/dashboard experience
  • Understanding of and experienceapplying digital marketing techniques
  • Proven success in customer acquisition and loyalty programs
  • A strong visual sense and excellent writing and presentation skills 
  •  Excels in facilitating meetings and  building rapport with CMOs and other client leadership executives
  • Experience within media & entertainment vertical helpful
  • Must be a self-motivated leader, proactive who  prefers working in a dynamic environment


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field
  • Advanced Degreepreferred
