Position Title Customer Service Rep - HVAC Contractor - DE #4131
Location Lewes Delaware
Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing company looking for an experienced customerservice rep.
Answering Phone is top priority-write up work orders and put on schedule.
Keep written record of Freon going out & what's in stock and reorder when necessary.
Keep written record of digital thermostats & what job they go to & reorder when necessary and keep track of Honeywell Pro-Points.
File warranty claims for HVAC Dept for labor & materials, make sure parts get returned by deadline & follow up to make sure we get credits.
Be responsible for warehouse & delivery employee, training him on all duties, making sure time is charged correctly, approving PTO, hiring, etc.
Dispatch WO's when necessary and call customers to let them know Service Tech is on the way, etc.
Serve as On-Call manager in rotation with other managers for nights & weekends.
Label old warranty orders to be kept or thrown away.
Review work orders that come back as returns that need parts & labor priced & customers called with quote & if sold need to order parts.
Whenever possible sell plumbing and HVAC maintenance agreements & HWH extended warranties.
Sign for deliveries at service counter.
Work directly for HVAC service manager.
Need good computer skills and good customer service skills.
Hours to be 8 AM to 4:30 PM with half hour for lunch. Could possibly be 7 AM- 5 PM.
Good knowledge of HVAC equipment is required.
Bottom line requirements:
1. 2+ years of customer service experience for an HVAC contractor or similar.
2. Solid knowledge of HVAC equipment.
