Job Summary

The Customer Service Manager position works within the Supply Chain Department of Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California. This position is responsible for leading and motivating a team of staff to ensure they are providing the best service to all customers within Lyons Magnus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create an environment that promotes the culture and values of the Supply Chain and Customer Service groups.
  • Work with Sales Managers, Broker Representatives, and key customers to meet customer order expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to measure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes related to the Customer Service group.
  • Resolve issues related to order management, returns, freight, deliveries, and customers.
  • Manage a team of customer service representatives.
  • Work with Supply Chain Production and Freight to ensure orders are filled at a rate of 99.5% and transported in a cost-effective manner.
  • Review item pricing and make changes/recommendations when necessary to sales orders.
  • Maintain and protect the integrity of data in the Lyons ERP software.
  • Maintain and review reports required by customers.
  • Analyze inventory and make order sourcing decisions when necessary.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for successful communication between all levels of management, within the organization and externally

Skilled in Microsoft, Excel and Word

Experience with order management or ERP software

Attention to detail

Proven leadership skills and ability to develop, lead, motivate, and manage a successful team

Ability to work independently, take direction and delegate accordingly

Education and/Or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or three to five years related Customer Service, preferably in a Manufacturing environment
