GENERAL FUNCTION

The Manager is responsible for providing financial leadership and insightful business analysis to manufacturing and supply chain leadership. The position requires strong, broad, progressive functional capabilities in accounting, financial planning/forecasting and analysis. The position requires strong analytical skills

This leader must have a deep understanding of the profitability drivers necessary to achieve financial objectives while providing for investment in future growth. The leader must have the ability to dissect complex financial / business issues into simple-to-understand presentations increasing the financial acumen of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Leadership while resolving issues and driving change.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead strategic / tactical business initiatives (may or may not be financial) ; understand key drivers of profitability and influence leadership to maximize profitability
  • Lead thinking of new business models and how to support from an FP&A perspective
  • Participate in the monthly close process and prepares reporting both internally and for the brands.
  • Create and sustain the Lens P&L analysis by brand and by lens type
  • Manufacturing and supply chain financial support for Oliver People, Wholesale, Glasses.com, Rayban.com, etc.• Manage end to end CAPEX process (business case creation, validation, alignment and tracking)
  • Manufacturing KPI validation and analysis (quality, cost, service, HR, etc.)
  • Group KPI reporting for Italy
  • Manage CAPEX (business case creation, validation, alignment and result tracking)
  • Standard costing project to develop activity-based costing and enhanced billing to brands. Work with plant directors to understand drivers of efficiency
  • Liaison between the business, brands, and IT to implement systemic solutions (i.e. brand billing rates, systems upgrades, process enhancements)
  • Liaison to the industrial planning team to understand WIP risks/opportunities; communicate risks to brands and finance
  • SAP Systems Migration
  • Interfaces with Global Sourcing and Controlling Partners – Attends and participates in required global meetings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years’ experience – preferably with experiences in Accounting and Finance Planning & Analysis
  • Successful track record of increasing responsibilities throughout career
  • Demonstrated record of tangible improvements in results / processes during career
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to drive results through team
  • Strong Interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence others
  • Demonstrated outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence cross functional teams to take actions based on own analysis

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • CPA and/or MBA
  • Manufacturing and sourcing experience preferred
