Monsanto Global Supply Chain is looking for a motivated Crop Protection Quality Product Delivery Manager reporting to the Crop Protection Product Delivery Team Lead. This role is accountable for supporting the development of processes related to product launches, both internally and externally.Also, this role will ensure execution of global quality strategies regarding these operations. This role will have accountability for quality oversight and compliance of new active ingredient, formulation, packaging, and repackaging operations, along with any related key raw material suppliers. This role is the acting Quality point of contact on strategic teams managing new formulations, new active ingredients, new intermediates, and Supply Chain product advancement for the Crop Protection business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ·Member of Supply Chain teams to develop and support global quality strategy and related contract development
  • ·Manage the global qualification process for new process implementations, internal and external
  • ·Work with Regional and Global Quality Leads in Crop Protection to align strategies and requirements in compliance with quality systems requirements
  • ·Serve as the key interface for manufacturing functions to support the product development and launch


  • ·Serve as key contractual interface for toll manufacturing and 3rd party laboratory relationships; assure a reliable operation by articulating with internal stakeholders (Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Technology, Analytical Chemistry, and Regulatory). Support the implementation and execution of quality requirements.
  • ·Serve as key contractual interface for Distribution-related external processer relationships (Bulk terminals, trans-load sites, and warehouse); assure a reliable operation by articulating with internal stakeholders (Planning, Logistics, Procurement, and Regulatory). Support the implementation and execution of quality requirements.
  • ·Responsible for managing quality issue resolution, external processor documentation, and processor maintenance (quality events/incidents, quality assurance manuals, audits, etc.) in compliance with quality system requirements
  • ·Manage quality scope for external manufacturing relationships with the Industrial Turf & Ornamental and Lawn & Garden businesses

Required Skills/Experience:

  • ·         Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Science, Engineering, or related field of study
  • ·         5+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, supply chain, supplier quality, or related operational experience
  • ·         Knowledge of ISO standards related to Quality and/or Integrated Management Systems
  • ·         A track record of successful project, quality control, quality assurance, and/or issues management experience
  • ·         Demonstrated high level computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook programs
  • ·         This position requires 25-40% travel as business needs require
  • ·         Light physical labor, with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs



Desired Skills/Experience:

  • ·         3+ year previous experience with maintaining third party relationships
  • ·         History of strong global network management

·         Auditor / due diligence experience in both internal and external manufacturing settings
