As a CRM Systems Analyst, you will be part of a team at MathWorks responsible for delivering a world-class CRM solution. ?In your role, you will ensure that the overall Salesforce solution at MathWorks optimizes our investment in Salesforce, balancing business needs with technical complexity, in order to meet our business strategy. ? Your role will span all aspects of the software development lifecycle and include working alongside our business and development teams in a highly collaborative Agile environment where every individual’s input is valued.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison to specific departments to support their business initiatives through systems evolution
  • Capture and evaluate business requirements in the context of our overall system solutions, including systems outside of Salesforce
  • Perform gap analysis between business requirements and Salesforce functionality
  • Develop overall solution design options and recommendations, considering pros and cons
  • Coordinate and negotiate solutions for complex, cross-functional requirements with multiple parties and interests
  • Configure Salesforce to support prototyping and solution approaches, within a larger team of analysts and developers
  • Stay abreast of the current and future Salesforce feature set relevant to our organization, in addition to general industry IT trends, and set direction for team to adopt features

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce
  • A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience as a systems analyst
  • 4+ years’ experience with Salesforce or other CRM as a systems analyst or developer
  • 4+ years’ experience with projects involving relational databases
  • Experience with CRM System in a global environment with multiple integrations
  • Experience leading systems projects with technical staff
  • Experience in a Service (Customer/Technical Support) role
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning
