Okta has an incredible global list of prospects, and significant goodwill and trust in the marketplace. This Lifecycle Marketing Manager is a new role on a new Database Marketing Team, a strategic priority for the company – you will be a pioneer at Okta! This is a great job for someone excited to drive pipeline with smart segmentation, build and optimize evergreen campaigns that engage prospects with the right offer at the right time, and drive scale and efficiency in our Free Trial funnel. This role has the opportunity for major impact to Okta’s top line, and will give a revenue-driven, technically-advanced marketer a great platform to build their career. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Aggressively grow signups and pipeline contribution for our Free Trial, while improving downstream funnel metrics and user experience
  • Create and own prospect Lifecycle strategy to increase activation, reduce churn, and delight customers across owned channels
  • Drive revenue and net-new pipeline from our live demo programs
  • Identify, build and shepherd new evergreen marketing programs that map to our prospect lifecycle
  • Work with our campaign managers on smart segmentation and opportunistic campaigns
  • Own, expand and optimize Okta nurture programs

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 5 years in lifecycle or database marketing, email marketing, marketing operations, or a combination of marketing programs and ops roles
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com and marketing automation platforms (Marketo a plus)
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools like Google Analytics and Tableau
  • Comfortable working cross functionally with web and product marketing, sales and product teams
  • Experience marketing a SaaS or B2C trial, freemium or subscription channel
  • Highly organized,  with cross-functional project and process management experience
  • Experience with B2B sales cycles and demonstrating marketing's impact on the business with data
  • Enthusiasm for challenges and strong work ethic
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
