Seeking a Credit & Treasury Manager to join Microchip's headquarter Treasury team in Chandler, Arizona.
The position will be responsible to work with the Credit & Treasury Analyst to manage all aspects of customer credit for Americas region customers. This effort includes evaluating customer financial statement and other data to make informed credit decisions that support the Company's revenue activities. Requires direct interaction with sales force and customers to resolve issues resulting in held orders as a result of collection or credit issues. Responsible for coordinating with AR to evaluating the bad debt allowances and other AR metrics on a quarterly basis as well as supportinternal and external audit requests associated with credit activities.
Assist the Corporate Treasurer in managing, forecasting, accounting for, and reporting on cash, debt, and investment activity in support of the company's daily, monthly, and quarterly objectives. The position has significant month end and quarterly close and financialreporting (including SEC filing support) responsibilities and also has a lead role in responding to regular internal and external audit requests for the entire treasury group and its related responsibilities. The Treasury Manager completes ad-hoc analyses and plays important role in various treasury reviews and acquisition related projects.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance required (MBA and/or CPA a plus);
3-6 years of increasing responsibility in Treasury and Credit Management;
Detail-oriented person with strong analytical, decision-making, and accounting skills;
Must possess ability to work well with others under tight deadlines and balance multiple priorities simultaneously;
Positive "can do" attitude and highly motivated person who takes the initiative to exceed expectations in a dynamic, changing environment;
Competent communicator, both in written and verbal communication, with above average negotiation skills;
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products, especially Excel and Outlook.
