The Data Analytics Officer will provide data driven solutions for internal partners at an enterprise wide level, enhance reporting methodologies and presentation of material portfolio and risk metrics using on demand, customizable and dynamic software tools such as Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau, and build reporting capabilities that offer scalability. This individual is empowered to create recommendations on what data to use, how to present and how to act upon the given information.

Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics or other quantitative discipline
3 - 5 years
relevant work experience in a financial or consulting organization

Knowledge of relational Databases
Knowledge of one or more Business Intelligence platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, SAS, or Tableau
Knowledge of Big Data platforms (Cloudera, Azure Data Lake)
Ability to perform advanced analytics using SAS, R, SQL, Python, etc.
Ability to interpret data output with appropriate context
Ability to generate actionable insights supported with data driven business case
Ability to develop advanced analytics and reporting that supports lines-of-business
Skill in the creation of source to target mappings, data lineage, and data dictionaries
