Summary: Credit Advisors report directly to the Group Credit Strategy Manager working as members of Private Wealth Management client teams to provide credit product expertise and deliver credit advisory services. Maintains and manages all aspects of credit relationships for clients of High-Net-Worth Client Advisors within the assigned wealth band. Credit Advisors also provide credit expertise on complex credit for clients in other wealth bands as needed. Interacts with clients individually or in conjunction withother team members as appropriate. Collaborates with Private Wealth Management partners to conduct internal client profiling to identify credit related sales opportunities. Responsible for achieving credit portfolio growth and profitability goals. Negotiates with clients individually or in conjunction with Client Advisors as appropriate. Credit Advisors handle or supervise the document preparation process, coordination of loan closings and any necessary follow up. Must obtain Registered Paraplanner designation within 24months of assuming position and appropriate continuing education requirements are met where needed to ensure designation is maintained.

UndergraduateDegree with 6years of extensive commercial or private lending and relationship management experience. Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision. Thoroughly understands LOB specific complex client entity structures, the related credit facility structuring and associated risks. Very Strong knowledge of commercial, consumer and advisory credit and ability to personally deliver complex credit solutions to Wealthy and High-Net-Worth Wealth bands. Basic knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements. Strong knowledge of traditional bank products and services including deposits, credit cards, mortgages, etc. Basic knowledge of all Private Wealth Management products and services. Possesses strong decision making skills and is able to balance business development and risk mitigation. Strong organizational skills; ability to determine and focus on top priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills. Flexible; readily adapts to change and new products, systems or methods. Excellent proven oral and written communication skills. Strong consultative sales skills with ability to develop internal and external referral sources, including Centers of Influence and ability to act as a consultant to the Client Advisor and the client on credit related matters. Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals or financial targets. Fully understands the credit process, financial analysis, underwriting and making recommendations.
